The project takes the discursive design outline in employing a framework to look into the trauma and timeline of subaltern people and their resistance. The framework employed is to take the significance of the perpendicularity of the backbone to the surface of the earth and its diverse interpretations across the fields.

 

The work construct artifacts and video scenarios that re-appropriate the timeline and positions Dalit Bahujan’s spinal column on the scale of geo-trauma to caste trauma and centers their experiences of trauma and its possibilities to restructure the Subaltern future.

 

The video works construct an artifact in a fictional setting, so the assumption of its operability allows suspension in the audience. This artifact acts as an artifact for the future. Considering the present situation brings or triggers an urgency to address the issues generated by the operation of caste systems. An artifact is an act of creating a myth of the future. The artifact, which a rhetoric user wears from the working class, through which he would access the intergenerational trauma. This artifact stands only for asking the audience questions: Do they need such a product in the future timeline, or would they see it as a piece of must-need equipment from a different point of audience view?
